Law of significance

Financial Preparation

There comes the point in your life when you ask yourself how you can leave a legacy.

I want to discuss the law of significance.

When you have reached a certain level of success (Maslow talked about it in his Hierarchy of Needs) where all of your basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing etc. are looked after, you sometimes look around and ask “Now what?”.

If you're not at this stage yet, then I continue to encourage you to work towards reaching that level.

However, let's say you have reached this stage, then much of it becomes about giving back and making an impact in the world.

So for me, when I came off of a four-year sabbatical after my wife's passing, I was questioning how can I make an impact in the world?

Because that's genuinely what became important

Outside of my three children who I spend a lot of time with and teach a lot of lessons too about becoming responsible and caring human beings,  then it became what am I gonna do with my time?

How can I make an impact?

So I decided to coach fathers on how to secure their family’s financial future.

For you, It might be something else.

What I want you always to recognize is in order to become ultra-successful, you have to make an impact in the world.

What impact do you want to have?
